Turn a sales call into a follow-up email and tasks

Review the commitments from a recorded call, save the next steps, and prepare an email you can check before sending.

About 5 minutes of review after the transcript is ready.

You start with
A workspace call with a completed transcript and clear next steps.
You end with
Selected tasks saved to your workspace and follow-up text open in the email composer.

Follow the steps

  1. Open the recorded call

Choose the workspace, open Calls, and select the conversation. Read the transcript to check the names, promises, and dates you want to carry forward.

Phone → Calls (opens in a new tab)
  2. Review the proposed follow-ups

In the call details, choose Ask Scribed → Review follow-ups. This action needs a call transcript and a workspace. Compare the suggestions with what was actually said.

Call details → Ask Scribed (opens in a new tab)
  3. Choose the tasks to save

Select only the follow-ups you want. For each task, choose its Task collection, assignee, and due date. Edit uncertain details before choosing Apply selected.

Call details → Review follow-ups (opens in a new tab)
  4. Check the email in the composer

Choose Review email in composer. Check the recipient, subject, wording, and sending account. Save or send it from the composer when you are ready.

Call details → Review email in composer (opens in a new tab)

Check the result

  • Open saved item takes you to each task that was successfully created.
  • The email text is visible in the composer, where you can review the recipient and sending account.

Before you finish

  • Applying the follow-up review does not send an email. Composer text starts as an unsaved draft.
  • Nothing is selected for you. A task needs an existing compatible collection and the required access.
